Refund & Cancellation Policy – Oritra Foundation

At Oritra Foundation, we deeply value the trust and generosity of our donors. Every contribution helps us continue our mission of empowering women, supporting healthcare, and caring for the elderly & specially-abled.
As donations are voluntary and non-commercial in nature, we have established the following policy:
1. Donations are Non-Refundable
All donations made to Oritra Foundation through our website (https://oritrafoundation.org) or other authorized platforms are final and non-refundable.
Once a donation is successfully processed, no refund or cancellation request will be entertained.
2. Duplicate Transactions
In case of an accidental duplicate donation (same donor, same amount, same payment reference), please contact us immediately at info@oritrafoundation.org or +91 9576145150.
After verification, we may refund or adjust the duplicate amount against future donations.
3. Transaction Failures
If your donation transaction fails but the amount is debited from your account, it will be automatically refunded to your original payment method by your bank/payment gateway within 7–10 working days.
If you do not receive the refund within this timeframe, please contact us with your transaction details.
4. Tax Exemption Certificates
Donors eligible under applicable provisions of the Income Tax Act (such as 80G/12A, if applicable) will receive an acknowledgment and certificate via email.
Refunds, if any (due to duplicate or failed transactions), will invalidate the issued certificate.
5. Changes to this Policy
Oritra Foundation reserves the right to amend or update this policy at any time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with a revised effective date.
